Optimal Bios
– Download Bios Update FC or FEGuide
– Download Iboot 2.6
– Download MultiBeast 3.1
– my system is better with tonymacx86 NVIDIA Update – in tonymacx86 NVIDIA Update – used the better in your system
NewDownload CUDA Mac OSX – v. 3.2.17
Mac OS X 10.6.6 Update
Download DSDT Bios version
– New – Download SleepEnabler 10.6.6

Snow leopard update to 10.6.6 in GA-X58A-UD3R rev 2.0

-Disconnect all disks except HD used for MAC
– 4GB RAM (2GB DIMMs in slots 1 and 3). remove the extra RAM

boot Priority CD/DVD first
ONBOARD SATA… all sata – change to ACHI
HPET change to 64-bit mode
ACPI SUSPEND – change to S3 STR

* If you have greater than 4gb of RAM, remove the extra RAM for a maximum of 4gb. You can put
back any extra RAM in after the installation process.
* Use only 1 graphics card in the 1st PCIe slot with 1 monitor plugged in.
* Remove any hard drives besides the blank drive being used for OS X.
* Remove any USB peripherals besides keyboard and mouse.
* Remove any PCI cards besides graphics- they may not be Mac compatible.
* If using a Gigabyte P55 board, use the blue Intel SATA ports- not the white Gigabyte SATA ports.
* It’s best to use an empty hard drive- you will have to partition and format the drive.
* Always back up any of your important data.

– Burn in CD iboot 2.6
– Boot with iboot 2.6
– Press F5 in chamaleon iboot
– Insert your Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail DVD and press F5
Got to Install

# When you get to the installation screen, open Utilities/Disk Utility
# NOTE: If you can’t get to the installation screen, retry the
process, but type -x at the screen above. This will enter Mac OS X Safe Mode, which will allow you to proceed.
# Partition your hard drive to GUID Partition Table
# Format your hard drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
# For the purposes of this guide, name it Snow Leopard. You can rename it later.
# Close Disk Utility

In 20 mins, Install Complete ;)


eject Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail DVD and insert again iboot 2.6
– Start Mac OSX
– Video Welcome a Mac :)
– Complete all steps

Open Multibeast 3.1 – leave it open, not moving

Now you’re on the desktop.
– Install Mac OS X 10.6.6Update
Not Reboot

Now Multibeast close automatically

– ReOpen Multibeast 3.1

–> UserDSDT
–> System Utilities -> Rebuild Caches
–> System Utilities -> Repair Permissions
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek ALC8XX -> ALC8XXHDA
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek ALC8XX -> AppleHDA Rollback
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Disk -> JMicron36x (aka GSATA) -> JMicron36xeSATA, JMicron36ATA or JMicron36xSATA depending on wether you want internal or external GSATA ports (I am used Sata)
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Miscellaneous -> NullCPUPowermanagement
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Kexts & Enablers -> Miscellaneous -> USB 3.0
–> Drivers & Bootloaders -> Bootloaders -> Chameleon 2.0 RC5 – Prerelease
–> Customization -> Boot Options -> 32-bit Apple Boot Screen
–> Customization -> Boot Options -> PCI Root ID fix
–> Customization -> System Definitions -> Mac Pro -> MacPro 3,1
–> Customization -> Themes -> tonymacx86 Remixed
–> OSx86 Software -> Kext Helper, Kext Utility

Now install:
Lnx2Mac’s ethernet drivers – install RealtekRTL81xx-0_0_67+.pkg


In smbios.plist in /Extra/

add line

(Used in ram 1600 mhz)

New – Install CUDA Mac OSX v. 3.2.17 (Better geekbech)

– Move SleepEnabler 10.6.6 kext in Extra/Extensions
Repair Permissions

New 30-01-2011
extra – com.apple.Boot.plist
<string>arch=x86_64 PCIRootUID=1</string>

64 bits works :P

    After installing the combo update and running the multibeast settings and rebooting I get to the white apple screen with the apple logo on it but get no further. I don’t even get the spinning wheel. It just sits there. Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot! With my z68x-ud7 working almost fine. The system finally sees my GTX 460 as named, but it doesnt open any film file. Any sugestions?

    HI I ´ve Gygabyte UD7, i7 920, osx 10.6.8.
    My GTS250 crash and change it for a GTX460. Now when the mac logo appers the screen hold. I can´t load snow leopard.

    Can I replace the kext video, using win 7?
